The "Uneo" case is characterized by a premium and pleasant appearance based on a square basic shape, lateral closures and components at handle and sides. The solid case for the innovative product "Uneo" stand out clearly to the existing green cases. The high quality and the innovation of the new product of Robert Bosch GmbH are made visible externally.

Hammering, drilling and screw driving – with "Uneo" all is possible. The compact 3 in 1 power package with the powerful Li-ion battery, a battery charger and accessories as drill, bits and chisel are securely arranged in the case and survive the fall from 80 cm down to earth.

Since more than 125 years Geberit develops high performing, intelligent systems and products in the sanitary engineering. The systems for the wall-mounted installation, drinking and wastewater installation and flushing systems are precisely matched and recognised worldwide. The required assembly tool is carried in the new case to the installation site.

By order of Plaston AG, the leading manufacturer of case solutions in Europe, ahape developed in a concept workshop the new carrying case for Geberit. The case should communicate the strategic direction of the company and be a strong and functional carrying case for the craftsmen. The case enjoying high demand was launched beginning this year. Reflecting on over 160 years of company tradition, Allit AG Plastics produces high-precision parts using injection-molding processes to supply their four business segments.
For nearly 10 years, ahape has supported Allit AG with industrial design and engineering services in selected product areas. Most recently these services were sought out by Allit in their "Organization" segment for the newly developed toolboxes "Mcplus Alu 21" and "Mcplus Alu 25".
These innovative toolboxes were presented at last year’s Hardware Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, where they received extremely positive reviews, and are now in production. They will be available in leading well-stocked hardware retailers starting this spring.

Developed by professionals for professionals, the Mr. BoxX system meets the efficiency requirements placed for an optimal work aid. The bins offer plenty of space for organization and can be flexibly stacked together and stored. As a result, the bins can be separated with a single action, and can be clicked together again and be transported safely.

Conceived as a tool transport and storage system, the Systainer has developed into a standard in the power-tool industry through its many advantages and applications. High strength, certified shipping security, optimal handling and the patented system of connecting individual Systainers together make the Systainer the optimal solution for the many industries who work with the system. Eight design and technology awards substantiate the innovation of the design. Since 1993 over a million units have been sold.

Plastic carrying cases were developed for professional power tools of Bosch. The aim was to reduce the carrying case number and to increase sales by a pleasing appearance. The project was cared up to the product introduction.

The design of a new mobile tool-case for service technicians working in the field. The case consists of an extremely stable hard-shell with a rolling framework and hand grip with 3 position extension. The patented mechanism allows technicians working on-site to raise the case to an ergonomic and comfortable working height. Awarded "Product of the Year 1999"

In addition to the design work we also conducted the pre-construction of the new cases. The material, surfaces, dimensions and construction features of the existing Systainer were transferred to the Maxi- and MiniSystainer. Stability and functionality were assessed on the basis of prototypes and stereo lithography templates.

Development of a foldbox for industrial usage, which should be simple to build up and fold again. The purpose should include the trend of door-to-door transports. Basis for the construction were the experiences with the existing foldbox generation with the size of 600 x 400 mm. Designing details were among other things the grasp construction and the locking mechanism.

Design of a Drawer-Systainer for small parts. 4 variations in drawer arrangements are available. A clever locking mechanism prevents drawers from accidental opening during transport, but allows for easy handling on-site. For stacking and connecting, the Drawer-Systainer is fully compatible with the whole Systainer system.

The new tool box series for Allit offers more organisation solutions for the ever-present clutter of tools and fasteners around the house. Even tool boxes in the low-price segment should be stable and comfortable to carry as well as offer a high quality of materials. The integrated design of all tool box sizes results in a product family suitable for a wide variety of uses.

The established Systainer line was expanded with 2 new case sizes in 2001. In the new Mini- and MaxiSystainers both small parts and larger power tools can now be accommodated in the right sized spaces. All important design features such as stackability, connectability, latches and form language were maintained in the new products. The system concept was also carried through: the MaxiSystainer, Systainer and MiniSystainer all stack and connect with each other.

VarioPlus ist the first small parts cabinet which combines the advantages of plastic and metal. The hollow plastic frame profiles and continuous steel-core floor offer a high load capacity. The modular frame elements allow the cabinet height and colours to be tailored to the customer’s wishes. The ergonomically formed drawer grip contains a label area which is protected against dirt and smudging. With a carrying handle the parts cabinet becomes mobile. Awarded "Design Preis Schweiz 1999"

Existing storage view boxes have their weak point within the front region of the retaining walls. By a tubular plastic profile these pile boxes receive an additional stability in the critical zone. Design and function were awarded with a compliment at the "Design Price Switzerland 1999".
