The high quality and the innovation of the new product of Robert Bosch GmbH are made visible externally.

Hammering, drilling and screw driving – with "Uneo" all is possible. The compact 3 in 1 power package with the powerful Li-ion battery, a battery charger and accessories as drill, bits and chisel are securely arranged in the case and survive the fall from 80 cm down to earth.

What are the characteristics of a professional can opener? Comfortable usability, little effort, high security by getting no sharp edges, fast and easily opening, no contact of the content with the opener and no dehydration by reclosing.

This multi functional household product "Profi Can Duo" designed by ahape has these characteristics and many more additional functions. The newly developed technique offers the advantage of no sharp edges and no metal particles in the food.

The innovative round cutting can opener includes a bottle opener and an integrated even and v-shaped blade for all standard knifes and scissors. The blade is accessible by moving a cover of safety. A suction cup ensures stability of the "Profi Can Duo". The previous model has been sold over a million times.

Dental technicians had to ground the sprockets manually. With the new arch trimmer a fast remove of the roughly surplus of the cast is possible. At the same time the "Millo" smoothes with less pressure the plaster surface with the result of a clean surface contour. Samples clearly demonstrate the return of investment within one year even in small labs.

Since more than 125 years Geberit develops high performing, intelligent systems and products in the sanitary engineering. The systems for the wall-mounted installation, drinking and wastewater installation and flushing systems are precisely matched and recognised worldwide. The required assembly tool is carried in the new case to the installation site.

By order of Plaston AG, the leading manufacturer of case solutions in Europe, ahape developed in a concept workshop the new carrying case for Geberit. The case should communicate the strategic direction of the company and be a strong and functional carrying case for the craftsmen. The case enjoying high demand was launched beginning this year. The multi-purpose snap grater developed for the company House-Ware is the latest product on the all-purpose market of graters. This functional household product is equipped with six different grater surfaces to ease cooking.

All kinds of food can be prepared carefully. From the julienne knife to the Rösti surfaces even baby food, nutmeg and chocolate can be prepared.

The integrated material chosen by the ahape has been reinforced by carbon fibre. The 300-degree foldable multi-purpose grater has slip-resistant silicone feet that allow a secure and lightweight operating. This innovative product can be stored in each drawer.

This new weather station collects daylight intensity, temperature, wind velocity and humidity data, and has the capability to calculate sun position based on the date and time. The collected data can be used to reliably control the air-conditioning and window shade actuation for building automation systems.

The BRITA water filter "Fjord" liked in Great Britain was revised of ahape. The jug with grasp and filters remained existing and the special attention toward the cover were directed. This was completely removed so far when filling in water. In order to facilitate the handling, conceived the ahape team cover with flap, which the optics of the jug takes up and which cover emphasizes saliently.

Elsner Electronic is a leading specialist in shade and ventilation control systems for sun rooms and conservatories.
To partner with the existing Weatherstation, Elsner has now released the new Solexa and Arexa Control Units.
Both controllers connect via radio signal with the Weatherstation, and depending on the transmitted weather data, sun-shades, blinds or windows can all be controlled. Individualized settings are easily made by any user thanks to the intuitive and clear design of the interface.

The new Vibrax Vibrator makes sure that viscous casting resins are freed of entrapped air bubbles from even the tightest corners of dental castings, reducing waste and producing flawless results. The design ensures that vibrations are transferred only to the casting resin and not to the workbench.
Every-day laboratory situations were taken into account in the design of the large and easily operated switches, which make settings with a push of the hand or elbow possible.

The durable and maintenance-free construction, innovative features, and a modern design that communicates these values made the Vibrax one of the most popular products at the IDS fair in Cologne.

The new Renfert Duomix mixing machine offers quick mixing and dispensing of impression resins for the dental field.
The fully automatic operation is controlled with only three buttons two speed settings and a timer, which makes for convenient operation.
The Duomix constantly monitors fill levels of the material cartridges, and a warning light and automatic stop feature guarantee secure operation over extended periods.

ahape designed new water filter jugs for the leading water filter company Brita Water Filter Systems. Based on given design sketches, the interpretation of falling water was converted into light, flowing forms. Ergonomic and functional details complete the new product. A new, patented cartridge supplements the product and emphasizes the leading position of Brita.

The development of a new series of in-flight crockery for Economy Class flights of German Lufthansa. The new design of the tray and dishes took into consideration the complex logistics and economic aspects of the air-traffic industry, such as storage, tray nesting, in-flight use, and so on. The trays received an enlarged and softened grip area, and the crockery pieces were carefully optimised for stacking height. Since May 2001, the series has been implemented on all intercontinental Lufthansa flights. Awarded the "iF Design Award 2002".

Reflecting on over 160 years of company tradition, Allit AG Plastics produces high-precision parts using injection-molding processes to supply their four business segments.
For nearly 10 years, ahape has supported Allit AG with industrial design and engineering services in selected product areas. Most recently these services were sought out by Allit in their "Organization" segment for the newly developed toolboxes "Mcplus Alu 21" and "Mcplus Alu 25".
These innovative toolboxes were presented at last year's Hardware Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, where they received extremely positive reviews, and are now in production. They will be available in leading well-stocked hardware retailers starting this spring.

Lies well in the hand and is multi-functional. Copied from professionals, the vegetable peeler makes it possible to garnish vegetables finely. The corrugated cut is extremely sharp, two lateral blades help cutting small dents out of the vegetable. The handle can be folded and shows then two further garnishing functions.

Development and design of portable infrared thermometer for speedy diagnosis and temperature taking. Particular importance was placed on ergonomics and ease of use. Analysis, design, construction and model construction by bluequest ensured that development was concluded swiftly and without a hitch. A temperature reading switch guarantees constant easy readings. A large display with automatic illumination enables excellent visibility.

Lightpolymerisation devices are used in the dental field for the hardening of tooth replacement materials. The task was to redesign the UniXS model. The client requested a new, modern housing design which would communicate the high quality and speed of the device. Part of the design task was the innovative pull-out drawer with integrated plastic canister and air filter, as well as a clear, easy to understand instruction area. The market roll-out of the UniXS is planned for fall of 2002.

The client wanted a new Allen key holder with innovative functionality. A simple extraction mechanism was designed to fan out the keys and make them easy to pick. The offset position of the pivot axis makes for a more comfortable turning action with the keys in the 180° open position. In the closed position the ergonomically formed grips nestle comfortably in the hand. The Pocketstar is available in 2 sizes with 7 or 9 keys. Awarded the "Design Prize Switzerland 1999"

The design of a new mobile tool-case for service technicians working in the field. The case consists of an extremely stable hard-shell with a rolling framework and hand grip with 3 position extension. The patented mechanism allows technicians working on-site to raise the case to an ergonomic and comfortable working height. Awarded "Product of the Year 1999"

A redesign of the existing T-handle using multi-component molding technology. The handle basis is molded from a special impact-resistant resin. Prominent soft-grip zones make for an optimal, ergonomic grip geometry and for comfortable fastening. High turning moments are efficiently transferred to the fastener. The "ComfortGrip" t-handle is available in 3 sizes.
