The MAPAL Dr. Kress KG founded in 1950 in Aalen is a world leading specialist for individual working solutions with highest precision and efficiency. The focus lies on the entire bore machining and on a sophisticated processing of tools for milling and turning.

With the "UNISET-V vision" MAPAL established for the first time CNC control. This was the reason for the MAPAL KG to engage the ahape GmbH for an entire new machinery design and a new language of form based on the MAPAL philosophy. This creation stands for the new reference design for further models of the new series. The recognition of the MAPAL product line had to be guaranteed. The ahape GmbH successfully performed in developing a modern and ergonomic design that combines the well know MAPAL precision with a special ease of operation.

Since foundation in 1931 the Güntner Group grows to an international leading company in the area of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems with production locations on all continents and a direct and indirect service and sales organization.

With the innovative idea of the microox-heat exchanger the Güntner Group could minimize the condenser seize of the new series "GVX". The task for the ahape GmbH was to develop a new casing structure in aluminium.

In close coordination with the construction department of Güntner the ahape GmbH created an innovative casing design for the “GVX”. Based on the diagonal structure the "GVX" offers also the positioning vertical and hanging. Güntner could showcase this successful product on time at the world trade fair "Chillventa".

The new "Foldnak 100" was presented at the worldwide biggest trade fair for the printing and media industry the drupa 2008. The "Foldnak 100" is the new brochure machine for the professional printing finishing of Ernst Nagel GmbH. Based on the special concept developed for the "Foldnak 100" it offers more performance and speed. Equipped with stapling device it is optimally qualified fort he industrial offset production.

Since drupa the Robo Feeder line, the Foldnak Compact and the Foldnak M2 are presented in the new design. The drupa was a big success for the company Nagel and could even surpass the expectations.

Based on the outstanding success of the wave measuring machine "WMM 300 - 1000" created the team of Schneider Messtechnik a new dimension of the tool measurement. The WZM offers everything that is needed for continuous quality control and protection and supported directly with the controlling of further manufacturing processes. ahape supported Schneider Messtechnik in the housing design.

The new WMM Series is an ultra-fast system for the precise measurement of rotationally symmetric objects.
The measuring instrument, known affectionately inside the company as the "shower stall", was received very positively by the market and has already exceeded projected sales numbers.

The design of a technologically innovative laser marking machine. The new housing design distinguishes itself through its balanced proportions, clear lines and functional form. With the Raymarker, the lettering and graphics can be applied to many materials; for example: metals, ceramics, plastics, glass. The new design of the housing reduced noise emissions, improved service accessibility and strengthened the worldwide brand identity for Pitney Bowes. At the same time, cost reductions and simplified manufacturing turned the largely custom-built product into a modular industrial one. The client, originally Bell+Howell, has been known as Pitney Bowes since 2001.

Development of a docking station for testing wafer samples in the computer industry. When the docking station is opened, various linear and rotary movements are conducted to guarantee optimum insertion and extraction of the test unit.

These dispensing machines by Wurlitzer Gmbh are conceived for indoor use such as in canteens, leisure rooms, corridors etc. The curved element in the lower area can be replaced, thereby enabling the machine to be adapted to suit individual client wishes.

Development and design of a range of sets of sliding shelves. The goal was to integrate the shelves design-wise into everyday office life and be able to adapt them to individual office surroundings.

The re-vamping of the cladding elements is based on the design of the Vitesse I enveloping machine. With greater curvature in the more gentle shapes it no longer has the appearance of a machine but adapts to the ambience of a modern-day office. Since 2001 our client, Bell+Howell, has been part of Pitney Bowes.

We developed a new system to identify the exact valve position. You can see the switched armature position from far away and from all sides very well. Also switching positions of three-way armatures can be indicated. With only one bottom part (left, right, inside and outside) the signal box can be adapted to all standardized pinion projections (vertical adjustment) and mounting dimensions.
